Are you missing a towing hook on your Model S that is TÜV approved for towing trailers and other items?
With a TÜV-approved trailer hitch, you can easily and smoothly place trailers and other items in the back of the car, perfect for summer vacations, the recycling station or if you are moving! The hook is TÜV approved to pull 1850 kg, which with a B driving license gives 900 kg total weight to pull. Read about what applies in your current country as the TÜV approval applies throughout the EU. Individual countries such as Sweden may still have their own regulations and choose to approve or not approve the towbar.
The towbar is matched to the car's VIN number and e-number, so we need this information from you when ordering. Since the hook is connected to your car, there is no right of return.

The electrical kit is connected to the CAN bus in the car to activate the reverse lights, brake lights and fog lights. However, there is no way to disconnect the rear warning system, but it stops beeping when you stand still or drive forward. Only reversing at low speeds will give rise to a reaction from the reversing alarms when a trailer is placed behind the car. The autopilot works as usual, although we recommend caution when using the towbar.
