Description

Mounted by gently stretching the rubber strip and placing it around the glass roof above the windshield.

We recommend using silicone spray to fit the strip correctly and straight into the gap around the glass roof. If you do not use silicone spray or similar, the strip will not look straight and nice and you will not get far enough down into the gap.

The rubber strip can be compared to neoprene and is very useful for absorbing noise and high tones that occur at higher speeds.

Each length is cut slightly longer than the length you have chosen, so that you can cut and adjust from the size you want on the roof strip.

Which size should I choose?

All glass roofs are fitted differently from the factory, which means that the cornice will not necessarily fit all roofs around. However, in our experience, some of the sizes usually fit the front of the cars. Below are recommendations on what usually fits most cars. Keep in mind that your car may need a different size compared to our recommendations. It all depends on how your glass roof is fitted at the factory. For those who would like to try first, we offer samples at a discounted price, the samples are about 10 cm long.

Model 3 lengths (3mm recommended for 2021+ cars from the US and 2.5mm for earlier model years and new cars from China):

1 meter = want to buy a larger roll and cut your own lengths? Buy by the meter and select the quantity to get the number of meters of the strip.

1.3 meters = for those who want to cover the front edge between the windshield and the glass roof (recommended).

4 meters = if you want to put the strip around the entire glass roof for maximum sound insulation against wind noise and protection against stone chips.


Model Y lengths (2.5 mm recommended):

1 meter = want to buy a larger roll and cut your own lengths? Buy by the meter and select the quantity to get the number of meters on the strip.

1.3 meters = for those who want to cover the front edge between the windshield and the glass roof (recommended).

5.3 meters = for those who want to cover the front edge between the windshield and the glass roof.

5.3 meters = for those who want to put the strip around the entire glass roof for maximum sound insulation against wind noise and protection against stone chips. However, keep in mind the rear edge of the roof and the opening with the trunk lid can affect how the strip fits there. If you can't get the fit at the back of the trunk lid, we recommend cutting the strip at the edge of the long sides at the back where the trunk lid starts. Depending on how your glass roof is fitted at the factory, the sides of the car may vary from car to car. It may not fit on all cars.

Model S lengths (2.5 mm recommended):
