Description

A 3M tape roof rack to reduce the noise level in the car at higher speeds while providing a neat and effective way to protect against stone chips at the edge of the glass roof. Regardless of the size of the gap between your glass roof and windshield, our 3M tape roof strip will fit to protect the edges of the windows.

The panes and edges must be clean and dry (recommended to clean with t-red) and at least 15 degrees. For mounting we recommend 3M primer which you can find here.

Installed by carefully measuring and placing the roof strip on the window, when you think the placement looks good and are satisfied with the fit, you start by cutting the length based on your car (1.5 meters is enough and remains for the front edge of the window) pull off the 3M protection that exposes the tape on the underside. Leave the rubber strip on the windows and gently pull off the cover along the entire strip, exposing the tape. Then press the strip so that the tape is fully activated against the surface. Avoid water and rain for the first 72 hours while the tape is curing.

The rubber strip can be compared to neoprene and is very useful for absorbing noise and high tones that occur at higher speeds.
