The Unplugged Performance UP x PFC 6 Front Piston Big brake kit is designed and manufactured in the USA - extensively tested at the Nurburgring for optimal performance!

This is the absolute premier iron brake disc without compromise! By utilizing the same proven caliper racing winning BFB Superlight Carbon Ceramic Brake Kit and combining it with Performance Friction (PFC) built V3 iron rotors and PFC manufactured custom designed brake pads we achieve amazing results at a fraction of the price of the ceramic brakes.

For those who track a lot, PFC needs no introduction, but for those newer to motorsport, PFC is the official brake supplier for Porsche's factory motorsport vehicles including the Porsche 991 GT3 Cup race cars. PFC helped propel our friends at BBi to multiple Pikes Peak victories at the 2021 PPHIC where Unplugged Performance's Tesla Model S Plaid also took top honors in its class. PFC ZeroFailures rotors are respected for unrivaled durability in the toughest racing conditions. The V3 version PFC rotors used are the latest generation of PFC's patented technology and impressively do not use traditional bolt-on hardware to join the 2-piece rotor/hat design. This also makes them quieter and rattle-free than traditional bolted 2-piece rotor designs.

The Tesla Model 3 and Model Y are very capable track arms but the significant weight of the vehicle overloads the stock brake system, even with upgraded components. The class-leading BFB carbon fiber ceramics have had rave reviews for years and we're excited to get comparable braking performance with a class-leading iron rotor solution at a more affordable cost.

The UP Iron BFB kit fits with UP's 18″ forged racing wheels and can fit many but not all 18″ wheels (18″ Model 3 stock wheels won't fit). 19″ wheels and above will fit even more easily with less thought.

One more note on the unique PFC V3 ZeroFailure rotor technology:

Performance Friction (PFC), fully floating Direct Drive attachment system, allows the brake disc to naturally expand/contract both radially and axially without being constrained by the hub. This helps eliminate rotor twisting, reduces air resistance and eliminates vibration and pulsating heat channels. Due to the high quality of PFC's design and manufacturing, Direct Drive rotors are completely silent and rattle-free - a trait not usually found in two-piece designs. PFC customization develops its own metallurgy for these rotors to ensure the longest life and best performance.
