Unplugged Performance has developed the ultimate lowering/comfort springs for the Tesla Model Y to deliver the best performance in terms of handling, comfort, aerodynamics and of course sporty looks!

Each spring is specially designed for two distinct linear spring rates. This allows for increased comfort (spring rate #1) along with increased handling (spring rate #2). During extensive aerodynamic study of Model 3, the effect of the new springs was tested using CFD. Following the installation of the moderate spring (38 mm lower) resulted in an 8.1% reduction in drag, with a reduction in the overall vehicle drag coefficient of 0.019.

Lowering/comfort springs features:

Low: The first variant is low springs, for those who want a lower car in appearance but at the same time get an increased sportiness in the suspension that is harder. Lowers about 5.3 cm.

Mild: The second variant is the mild suspension, it focuses more on comfort and delivers a ride that is more luxurious and comfortable. Mild provides approximately 2.54 cm lower ride height on Model Y Long Range and approximately 1.27 cm lower ride height for Model Y Performance.

The lowering may vary, however, as different Model Ys have different factory spring rates based on different production dates, the range from the factory is approximately 15 mm.
