Lowering/comfort springs Unplugged Performance Model 3

Tesla Model 3 Performance and other models can choose to upgrade to Unplugged performance springs on their car. Each spring is specially designed for two distinct linear spring rates. This allows for increased comfort (spring rate #1) along with increased handling (spring rate #2).

During extensive aerodynamic studies of the Model 3, the effect of the new springs was tested using CFD. After installation of the moderate spring (38 mm lower) resulted in an 8.1% reduction in drag, with a reduction in the overall vehicle drag coefficient by 0.019.

Lowering/Comfort Springs Features:

Mild provides the closest factory ride height and the smoothest ride. Provides approximately 18 mm of drop from the factory.

Moderate provides ground clearance similar to modern sports cars with a little more comfort in mixed driving and sportier handling in corners. Provides approximately 38 mm of drop from the factory.

Low provides the lowest ground clearance similar to modern hypercars. Provides approximately 53 mm of drop from the factory.

Super Performance is designed specifically for Model 3 Performance to provide maximum handling without reduced comfort. The height is comparable to our best-selling "moderate" springs with a relative height reduction of approximately 30 mm compared to the original springs on the Model 3 Performance which are already lowered from the factory.

However, the lowering may vary as different Model 3s have different high springs from the factory based on different production dates, the interval from the factory is approximately 15 mm.
