Description

Roof strip with 3M tape to reduce the noise level in the car at higher speeds while protecting against stone chips at the edge of the glass roof in a neat and effective way. Regardless of the size of the gap between your glass roof and the front windshield, our roof strip with 3M tape will fit to protect the edges of the windows.

The panes and edges must be clean and dry (recommended to clean with t-red) and at least 15 degrees. We recommend 3M primer which you can find here.

To install, carefully measure and place the roof strip on the window, when you think the placement looks good and are satisfied with the fit, start by cutting the length based on your car (1.5 meters is enough and is left over for the front edge of the window) pull off the 3M protection that exposes the tape on the underside. Leave the rubber strip on the windows and carefully pull off the protection along the entire strip, exposing the tape. Then press the strip so that the tape is fully activated against the surface. Avoid water and rain for the first 72 hours as the tape cures.

The rubber strip can be compared to neoprene and is very useful for absorbing noise and high tones that occur at higher speeds.
