Tesla Postpones Launch of Robotaxi to October
A while ago, Elon Musk announced that Tesla would unveil its robot taxi on 8 August. Now, it is reported that the launch has been postponed to October, according to media reports. The reason is said to be that the design team has been asked to make some significant changes to the vehicle .
The design team now needs more time to finalise further prototypes. Bloomberg reports that sources within the company have confirmed that an internal communication has gone out about the two-month delay. Neither Tesla nor Elon Musk have yet commented on these details.
Following Bloomberg's report, Tesla's share price has fallen by almost 10 per cent.
