Strejken riktad mot Tesla i Sverige intensifieras

Strike against Tesla in Sweden intensifies

The strike affecting Tesla in Sweden takes a new turn by expanding its scope to include more workshops. The labor dispute began in late October when it became known that the company had not reached an agreement on a collective agreement for employees in the service departments.

The initial phase of the strike was marked by a complete work stoppage at the affected service centers.

The situation has worsened since the strike warning was extended and additional workshops have been added to the list of workplaces where work on Tesla cars is blocked. This came into effect at the beginning of November, potentially causing problems for Tesla owners who need service or repairs. It should be noted that the blockade only affects work on Tesla cars and not other car brands that can be handled at these workshops.

Opinions are divided among Tesla service center employees on whether a strike is the right action to take, and some have chosen not to participate.

Negotiations are scheduled to continue in early November.

A list of the specific locations where workshops are affected by the strike has been compiled and these are: Halmstad, Malmö, Södertälje, Gothenburg, Örebro, Norrköping, Stockholm Danderyd, Linköping, Kungälv, Kungsbacka, Helsingborg, Arlöv, Uppsala and Jönköping.
