Description
Tesla Model 3 Performance and also other models can finally choose to upgrade to Unplugged performance sway bars on their car. We can help with installation but it is of course possible to buy the kit yourself to install.
Developed in collaboration with American racing driver Randy Pobst the Unplugged Performance sway bars are the best for the Model 3. Body roll will be reduced immediately after installation and you will also feel an improved chassis balance. The system is adjustable in three easy steps at the front and rear, allowing for fine-tuning to suit your driving style. Enhanced high-performance polyurethane bushings are included.
Reliable and popular on several record-holding cars around the world as well as on hundreds of everyday vehicles.
The race version is adapted for those who have a car built for the track, i.e. do not use the car in daily driving. If the car is used off the track, you should have the anti-roll bars called "Street & Race".
SR+ cars need to supplement with the following parts from Tesla as they lack rear anti-roll bars from the factory:
"4 M10 1.5X25 Flange Bolts, OEM Endlinks, Part Numbers 1044491-00-E Rear Left 1044496-00-E Rear Right."
The performance you can expect from the system
FRONT
Tesla standard 29mm front anti-roll bar: 11 608 kg/m
Unplugged Performance 31.8mm front anti-roll bar: soft: 13 215 kg/m
Unplugged Performance 31.8mm front anti-roll bar: medium: 15 894 kg/m
Unplugged Performance 31.8mm front anti-roll bar: firm 19 198 kg/m
Rear
Tesla standard 16mm (19.6mm on Performance) anti-roll bar: 715kg/m
Unplugged Performance 22.2mm rear anti-roll bar: soft: 2036kg/m
Unplugged Performance 22.2mm rear anti-roll bar: medium 2322kg/m
Unplugged Performance 22.2mm rear anti-roll bar: firm 2679kg/m
Racing &, Competition exceed 25mm and the three adjustable levels are unpublished but are a significant increase in stiffness.
Benefits:
Developed in collaboration with American racing driver Randy Pobst
Perfectly paired front/rear as a dialed-in kit, used on real street and track testing.
Reduced body roll in cornering as well as improving the driving experience and enhancing the driver's confidence in the car making an improved contact with the road surface.
Tougher polyurethane (PU) sway bars improve cornering response. The bushings deflect less and respond faster, so roll control is immediate.
A sport-tuned sway bar upgrade improves chassis balance and generally reduces understeer or "push" in the front suspension.
Faster steering response and reduced body roll without sacrificing day-to-day comfort or adjusting spring rates.
Can be enjoyed on a completely "normal" Model 3 for daily driving while also being well suited to cars converted for the race track as the system has three different levels that can be easily customized to match each driver's driving style.
