T-Profil Roof Strip for Model 3, Y & S
The T-profile roof strip, specially designed for Model 3, Model Y, and Model S, serves to reduce noise levels inside the car at higher speeds while also effectively protecting against stone chips along the edge of the glass roof.
Installation:
Installation is done by carefully stretching out the rubber strip and placing it around the glass roof above the front windshield. We recommend using silicone spray to ensure proper and straight installation within the gap around the glass roof. If silicone spray or a similar product is not used, the strip may not appear straight and may not fit snugly into the gap.
The rubber strip can be likened to neoprene and is highly effective at absorbing noise and high-frequency tones that occur at higher speeds.
Each length is cut slightly longer than the chosen size to allow for custom trimming and adjustment to fit your specific roof size.
Choosing the Right Size:
Glas roofs may be installed differently from the factory, so the roof strip may not necessarily fit all roofs. However, one of the recommended sizes usually fits the front edge of the cars in our experience. Please note that your car may require a different size compared to our recommendations depending on how the glass roof is installed from the factory. For those who prefer to try before buying, we offer discounted samples, which are approximately 10 cm in length.

Model 3 Lengths (3 mm recommended for 2021+ cars from the USA and 2.5 mm for earlier models and new cars from China):
1 meter: If you want to buy a larger roll and cut your own lengths, purchase by the meter and select the quantity to get the desired number of meters of the strip.
1.3 meters: Recommended for covering the front edge between the front windshield and the glass roof.
4 meters: If you want to install the strip around the entire glass roof for maximum noise insulation against wind noise and protection against stone chips.
Model Y Lengths (2.5 mm recommended):
1 meter: If you want to buy a larger roll and cut your own lengths, purchase by the meter and select the quantity to get the desired number of meters of the strip.
1.3 meters: Recommended for covering the front edge between the front windshield and the glass roof.
5.3 meters: For those who want to install the strip around the entire glass roof for maximum noise insulation against wind noise and protection against stone chips. However, please consider the rear edge of the roof and the opening with the trunk may affect how the strip fits there. If you cannot achieve a good fit at the back with the trunk, we recommend cutting the strip at the edges on the long sides where the trunk begins. Depending on how the glass roof is factory-installed, the sides of the car may vary from car to car, and the strip may not fit all cars in this area.
Model S Lengths (2.5 mm recommended):
1 meter: If you want to buy a larger roll and cut your own lengths, purchase by the meter and select the quantity to get the desired number of meters of the strip.
1.4 meters: Recommended for covering the front edge between the front windshield and the glass roof.
5.8 meters: For those who want to install the strip around the entire glass roof for maximum noise insulation against wind noise and protection against stone chips.
