Tesla Soundproofing - Market-leading Soundproofing

Do you also experience disturbing road noise and wind noise in your Tesla at higher speeds? Then you are not alone!

In recent years, we have been actively working to develop various solutions to reduce the noise level in cars. Everything from door moldings to special rubber mats in foam-like material, but nothing is as effective as this solution where we disassemble the parts of the car and insulate where the problem occurs.

We are now able to offer you market-leading soundproofing of the same material that you find in, among other things, the cars of the Swedish sports car manufacturer Koenigsegg!

Of course, we will send you our own instructions. But keep in mind, regardless of the year of the car and regardless of which factory the car is manufactured in, there are large variations between two seemingly equivalent cars. The instructions are general as all cars are different and specific instructions may not match your particular car. The instructions are an extension of what each part in the package should be placed and installed. However, the instructions do not focus on which screw to unscrew to access the inside of the door, for example. If you do not feel comfortable unscrewing and taking the car apart for your own installation, we always recommend that you book installation directly on the website here.

The sound insulation is offered in several package levels, depending on which car and year of model you have, the cars are insulated differently from the factory. Our recommendation is the whole car package+

The more sound deadening you use in the car, the better the end result will be.

We recommend that you also supplement with our installation tool to make it easier to squeeze out the air and get the glue to adhere properly (not mandatory but something that clearly facilitates installation).
The more careful you are in this process, the better the soundproofing will be.

The sound deadening has a strong adhesive on the back, does not require a primer or similar! However, it is important that the surface is clean. We usually recommend cleaning with T-red in a spray bottle and a cloth where you wipe the surface. Just like with the assembly above, this step is very important! The cleaner, the better the adhesive will adhere and the better the result will be.

Package 1 - Wheelhouse (6 sheets)

Our most popular solution, sound insulation for all wheelhouses, here it is important to focus on the damping of the "moving sheet metal". Which means the sheet metal that sounds hollow when you tap it.

Of course, it doesn't hurt to soundproof other parts in the wheel arch as well, but the focus should be on the sheet metal that makes more noise when you tap it compared to the durable construction that sits further into the wheel arch (for example, crash beams, etc.).

Assembly: Install the tire + plastic and fabric in the wheel arch

Time required: About 4 hours

Package 2 - Doors (6 + 4 sheets)

The doors are a solution where we remove the panels on the inside of the door, secure the mounting points on the panel and the door to be able to easily mount everything back when we are finished (important).

Here we insulate in several layers, the first part on the inside of the sheet metal facing the street 1/2 sheet on each door. The second part between the sheet metal and the plastic on the car (1 sheet on each door) and the last part around and behind the speakers to isolate them 1/2 sheet on each door.

Do you have any soundproofing left and are you satisfied with the insulation on the doors? Fantastic, then we would have recommended using it on some other part of the car!

NB be careful with clips and especially cables when dismantling the inner door panel!

Package 3 - Luggage (5 sheets)

For those of you who experience a lot of noise from luggage and at the same time would like to seal the roof panels with extra soundproofing, this is the perfect solution for you! Here we usually recommend 2 sheets for the roof's respective panels, then we have a full 4 sheets for the luggage, which in many cases is enough and will be left over for other parts of the car!

Assembly: Assemble the roof panels + the fabric and plastic parts in the luggage

Time required: About 4 hours

Package 4 - The whole car (12 + 8 + 6 sheets)

A complete solution with soundproofing for the entire car + an extra sheet for those who want a little more material to work with during installation.
