Description
Are you going to install new mudguards on your Tesla to protect against road salt and other dirt? Or maybe install roof racks on the car? Remember to protect the paint with protective film!
We recommend that you change the protective film 1-2 times a year if you are concerned about the paint under the mudguards/roof racks. Suggestedly every time you change tires or install the roof rack.
Contains:
Protective film to place under the mudguards / roof rack to protect the paintwork on the car.
When you install the protective film, the paintwork around the wheel arches must of course be clean!
Identify how much protective film you need - the length of the protective film is enough to install on all four mudguards.
We usually recommend the following: Cut the protective film into four equal parts. Each part can then be divided in width, which means that the set of protective film included is enough for the entire first year. You can find more protective film HERE.
Hold the mudguards up against the car to identify how far into the paintwork the edge of the mudguards goes. Here the ambition is to be as close to this edge as possible with the protective film as it is the edge of the mudguards that is to be covered.
The protective film has a thin plastic film on both sides of the film. First, peel off the plastic film that covers the self-adhesive side. Mount the film in the desired location and then peel off the plastic that protects the surface of the protective film.
