With the XPE mats, you get a 3-layer construction, TPE and XPE form the basis, combined with an anti-slip bottom which together with the high edges prevents the mat from sliding around. XPE provides great drainage and higher tolerance to dirt. XPE can also reduce road noise as its foam-like structure absorbs a lot of sound and certain frequencies.
