Usage:

• Clean the surface and wipe dry
• Shake well before use
• Use the brush to apply the paint
• For deeper scratches, reapplication is required (wait until the paint has dried before applying the next layer)

About Pearl White:

Do you experience that the result does not match the original paint? Tesla's Pearl White is a translucent multi-coat, which means that the color gets its white appearance by light passing through thin layers and being reflected back. If the color in the touch-up paint is applied in too thick layers, the light cannot pass through and is therefore not reflected back and captured properly. In that case, the color can appear dull, beige or yellowish.

If the exact same color is instead applied in a very thin layer, it will directly match the car's original color. The color is correct – it's the thickness that makes it look different.

Here's how to fix a layer that's too thick:

• Remove the applied color: Clean or gently smooth out the raised lump of color.
• Apply thin layers: Use a very small amount of color with a fine brush or toothpick. Dab on a very thin layer, let dry for about 10 minutes and repeat if necessary.

By building up the paint in thin layers, the light can be reflected correctly, which makes the beige tone disappear and the color blend in with the car's original paint.
