Description
The LED lights in the Tesla Model X are controlled via a data stream from the car's computer and therefore a special adapter is needed to control the auxiliary lights so that they turn on and off together with the car's original headlights when you activate the high beam.
The adapter is specially developed to extract 12V control current for auxiliary lights for the Tesla Model 3 and is plug & play with the headlights, which means that you do not have to cut any cables or do other damage to the car's system. Note that a relay is needed between the light bar and the battery (where the ALC is connected).
When driving with the light bar, it is also possible to turn off the strong auxiliary light but drive with regular high beam, for example if you drive in dense fog, snow or the like. You can do this easily by quickly flashing the high beam 5-6 times. The function is automatically reset the next time you drive, or you can blink quickly 5-6 times again to activate the auxiliary light.
We offer both ALC with halo for those who have a compatible lightbar, but also without halo for those who only have a regular lightbar. Halo works for both variants regardless of which lightbar you have, so if you are unsure, we recommend choosing halo directly.
