The Model 3 roof rack is designed from an aerodynamic perspective to maintain the car's minimalist design while not increasing consumption and noise levels too much. The lightweight design makes installation easy and the roof rack looks original to the car after installation. For an extra quiet roof rack, we recommend adding the extra rubber gasket.

There are T-slots for smooth and stable mounting of compatible accessories such as ski racks, bike racks and roof boxes!

The T-slots are 21 mm wide and 12 mm high from the side, so the 20 mm wide brackets should fit.

The roof rack is otherwise 80 mm wide, which means that most brackets on the market that "grip" the roof rack fit.

NOTE: Do you think the roof rack is wobbly and too loose? Or that the screws on each side cannot be tightened further?

Start by unscrewing the screws and gently pull the foot out of the roof rack. Then you expose the two attachment points for the screws, these can be clamped with pliers, then you create a tighter space that will make the roof rack more stable. However, be careful not to tighten these too much, it is good to have some mobility in the system, then there will be less stress on the glass roof which otherwise risks being damaged!
