Assemble the paint protection layer kit
To assemble the paint protection layer kit, do the following:
- Clean the mounting area with car shampoo and water, then dry with a clean microfiber cloth. Make sure you get rid of any dirt, grease, etc.
- To make the lubricant, mix about 15% baby shampoo and 85% water in a spray bottle or other suitable container. Shake the container to mix the liquid thoroughly.
- Apply large amounts of the liquid to the mounting area and the front of the left cover.
- Detach the left cover from the back and apply the liquid to the back when it detaches.
Caution: Left and right covers are not interchangeable. The sticky backing should be attached to the car paint and follow the shape of the body.
- Attach the left guard to the rear door, aligning the bottom of the guard with the bottom of the door and the right side of the guard with the end of the door.
Anm: Apply lubricant if necessary to move the protector around so that it is in line with the shape of the door and the whole protector is stuck to the paint.
Caution: No part of the cover should hang out from the edge of the vehicle.
- After you have properly attached the cover, use the squeegee to remove any air bubbles between the cover and the paint.
- Perform steps 3-6 for the right side of the vehicle.
