Montering av stänkskydd (2024+)

Anm: This procedure is for vehicles manufactured from approximately January 2024. For vehicles manufactured before approximately January 2024, see Fitting mudguards and fenders (2017 - 2023).

You can buy mudguards for your vehicle athamphi.com or inTesla Shop. To install the mudguards, perform the following steps:

Note: This procedure and illustrations describe how to install the left splash guard. Instructions for installing on the right side are the same but mirrored.

• Clean the mounting area with rubbing alcohol and allow it to dry completely before installing.
• Open the front door on the driver's side (left).
• Turn the steering wheel to the left as far as possible to access the mounting area.
• Open the front bolt cover of the side sill, then use a 10 mm socket wrench to remove the screw and washer that secure the side sill to the body.
• Use a screwdriver or pry tool to carefully remove the pressure clips (x2) on the front wheel inner wheel housing.
• Put on cut-resistant gloves, then use a folding blade knife to carefully cut the cover from the side sill.

Warning: Make sure that cut-resistant gloves are used when performing this step to avoid personal injury.

• Place the mudguard on the inner wheel housing and the side sill, then attach the push clips (x2).
• Install the bolt that secures the lower part of the mudguard to the side sill. Tighten the bolt to 2.5 Nm (1.8 ft-lb).
• Follow the same procedure to install the mudguard or fender on the right side of the vehicle.
