Assemble the paint protection layer kit

To assemble the paint protection layer kit, do the following:

Caution: Install the paint protection layer kit when it is dry and warm outside. After installation, do not wash the vehicle and avoid rain for at least 24 hours.

  • Clean the installation area with car shampoo and water, then dry with a clean microfiber cloth. Make sure you get rid of any dirt, grease, etc.
  • To make the lubricating fluid, mix approximately 85% water and 15% baby shampoo in a spray bottle or suitable container. Shake the container so that the liquid is thoroughly mixed.
  • Apply a generous amount of the liquid to the mounting area and the left and right side covers.
  • Detach the lower left cover from the back and apply the fluid while pulling the cover away.

Caution: Left and right covers are not interchangeable. The sticky backing should be attached to the car paint and follow the shape of the body.

  • Attach the lower left guard to the side sill and align the bottom of the guard with the bottom of the side sill and the back of the guard with the rear corner panel of the vehicle.

Anm: Apply anti-skid fluid if necessary to move the protector around so that it is aligned with the shape of the body and the entire protector is attached to the paint.

Caution: No part of the guard should hang out from the edge of the vehicle. Avoid attaching the cover to the body line between the side sill and the corner panel (sill).

  • After attaching the cover properly, use the squeegee to remove any air bubbles between the cover and the paint.
  • Detach the upper left cover from the back and apply the liquid while pulling off the cover.
  • Attach the upper left cover to the corner panel and align the bottom of the cover with the top of the lower left cover and the back of the cover with the rear corner panel of the vehicle.

Anm: Apply anti-skid fluid if necessary to move the protector around so that it is aligned with the shape of the body and the whole protector is stuck to the paint.

  • After you have properly attached the cover, use the squeegee to remove any air bubbles between the cover and the paint.
  • Perform steps 3-9 on the right side.
