Our roof racks for Model Y and Model 3 are designed from an aerodynamic perspective to maintain the car's minimalist design while not increasing fuel consumption and noise levels too much. The lightweight design makes installation easy and the roof rack looks original on the car after installation. For an extra quiet roof rack, we recommend adding the extra rubber gasket that replaces the existing rubber gasket made for mounting accessories in the T-slot.The extra rubber gasket is perfect if you are going to mount a roof box or bicycle rack on the roof rack but do not need a T-slot to attach your accessories, but these are instead mounted with grip claws around the roof rack itself.
Our own assembly instructions are included and there we go through step by step how the roof rack should be mounted. The most important thing to take with you is to ensure that you are at the correct attachment point for the roof rack based on the markings in your glass roof (see dimensions in the instructions) and that the hook for the roof rack is in the metal bracket under the glass roof and not in the glass roof itself. You can ensure this by trying to pull the metal hook gently sideways, the hook should then be stuck within the markings in the glass roof.
