What is Pin to drive?
Pin to drive is a built-in security feature in your Tesla that is recommended to be activated when you take delivery of your new car. The feature means that when the driver of the car enters the car with the key, they must enter a four-digit code to start and drive the car away. So even if your cell phone or key card is stolen, the thief cannot drive away with the car. A really good feature that we recommend to all owners! Lending your car to a family member or friend? You can always still start the car via the app on your phone, so you don't have to hand out your code for the car (so make sure you also have a password on your phone).
