Tire/wheel change and tightening of bolts

When changing wheels each season, it is important to ensure that the car is lifted from the car's lifting points and nowhere else. This is to avoid the risk of damaging the battery or the sills that contain the cooling for the battery and drivetrain. In connection with the wheel change, whether you do it yourself or at your tire shop, it is important that the nuts are mounted with the correct torque for your car. For Tesla, it is 175 Nm, which is very high if we compare with other car brands that usually have recommendations around 130 Nm. Remember to always retighten your wheels after about 10 miles. To ensure that the correct torque is used when mounting, you should use a torque wrench such as this one:
