- Supercharging is not free. The Tesla app and your car's display will show the cost of the charge. Make sure you have linked a valid payment card to your Tesla Account .
Label at the charging station:
- If there is a queue at the charging station, try to move your car as soon as charging is finished to make room for others.
- Keep in mind that if the car is fully charged and still plugged in, you will be charged congestion fees by Tesla, move the car as soon as charging is complete or increase the level of charging.
- Do not park at a charging post if you do not plan to charge, to avoid blocking other drivers.
Condition of the charging station:
- Report any damage or issues with the charging station via the Tesla app or to Tesla customer support.
Long-distance journeys:
- Plan your stops at Supercharger stations along your route in advance to ensure you always have enough battery to reach your destination.
Charge smart:
- Try to charge when the battery level is low (but not empty) to maximise charging speed and minimise charging time.
- Use other charging options such as home or destination chargers whenever possible to reduce the load on the Supercharger network.
