The rim's name is a tribute to the iconic flying curve of the Nürburgring's Nordschleife, one of the world's most demanding sections for rim strength. The Flugplatz rim is designed and manufactured in Germany by BBS, a world leader in high-performance rims, renowned for its quality in everything from Formula 1 to super sports cars. The rim uses BBS's pioneering flow-forming technology, which provides an optimal balance between strength and weight reduction.
