Öhlins dampers represent the pinnacle of modern suspension technology. Combining performance-optimized damping for the track with the comfort and flexibility required for street use, this coilover offers an extremely wide range of damping adjustability.

Designing a shock absorber that is optimized for either street use or performance is relatively easy. However, creating a shock absorber that works great in both situations is much more difficult from an engineering perspective. Öhlin's exclusive patented Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology, along with precision manufacturing, internal seals and Öhlin's smooth 1304 shock oil, provides a shock absorber that can absorb bumps in fractions of a millimeter. The result is a suspension that provides maximum grip in the corners while providing firm but responsive ride comfort on the road. Those who have ridden with this set have commented that the Redwood Motorsports Öhlins kit is surprisingly more comfortable than the original suspension while providing one of the highest levels of grip/performance among the coilovers they have tried.
