With the XPE mats you get a 3-layer construction, TPE and XPE form the basis, combined with an anti-slip bottom that together with the high edges prevents the mat from sliding around. XPE provides a great drainage and higher tolerance to dirt. XPE can also make the road noise lower because its foam-like structure absorbs a lot of sound and certain frequencies.
