Sandblasted side sills are a common issue on the Tesla Model Y. Our mud flaps protect your Model Y from road salt, asphalt chips, and other debris thrown up by the wheels. The mud flaps blend seamlessly with the rest of the car and look like they came straight from the factory – a popular and highly requested accessory for your Tesla!

The mud flaps are made of soft ABS plastic with a matte black finish. The matte black flexible Model Y mud flaps are more pliable than our previous versions to better withstand larger chunks of ice and snow that build up in the wheel wells. They are also more durable if you drive over high curbs and the mud flaps come into contact with the ground.

Installation:

Installation usually takes about 10 minutes per mud flap, even for someone with no prior car experience.

Front mud flaps:

Start by removing the two clips inside the wheel well. Hold the mud flap against the wheel well and insert the new clips included in the package. At the top of each mud flap, there is a small tab that should be tucked in behind the metal panel in the wheel well.

Rear mud flaps:

For the rear mud flaps, in addition to the clips inside the wheel well, there is a 10 mm screw underneath behind the wheel well – this should be removed during installation. Once the clips inside the wheel well and the screw underneath are removed, you can mount the mud flap. Hold the mud flap against the wheel well and insert the new clips included in the package. At the top of each mud flap, there is a small tab that should be tucked in behind the metal panel in the wheel well, while the 10 mm screw at the back under the car is reinstalled, this time with the mud flap properly aligned with the hole.
