Towbar TÜV Approved Tesla Model S

With a TÜV approved towbar, you can easily and conveniently place trailers and other things in the back of the car, perfect for the summer holidays, the recycling station or if you are moving! The hook is TÜV approved to tow 1850 kg, which with a B driving license gives a total weight of 900 kg to tow. Individual countries such as Sweden may still have their own regulations and choose to approve or not approve the towbar.

The towbar is matched to the car's VIN number and e-number, which is why we need this information from you when ordering. When the towbar is connected to your car, there is no right of return.

The electrical kit is connected to the CAN bus in the car to activate the reversing lights, brake lights and fog lights. However, there is no way to disconnect the rear reversing alarm, but it stops beeping when you are standing still or driving forward. Only reversing at low speeds will cause a reaction from the reversing alarms when a trailer is placed behind the car. The autopilot works as usual, although we recommend caution when using the towbar.
