Our electric luggage doors, frunks and other electric components are developed and designed by our partner in Germany. Unlike other Chinese variants on the market, these are of a higher quality with a higher resistance to water and salt, which is good in our Nordic climate. The heart of the system is an intelligent control unit that enables continuous monitoring of vehicle status and centralized control of all parts. The tailgate is opened and closed by an electronic automatic lift. The speed and opening position of the device can be adjusted in six steps. The additional foot sensor also allows the tailgate to be operated by foot gestures. The mounting is integrated into the rear bumper.

During the closing process, the tailgate is first lowered and then gently pulled into the lock using the softclose mechanism, only then is the tailgate secured by locking. If the closure is obstructed by a bag or other object, an integrated overload protection system detects the problem and stops the closure, just like original on Tesla's new cars. In addition, the controller allows the trunk to be opened only when the car is stationary and in park.
