Is Cybertruck illegal?

TOWING CAPACITY ESTIMATED RANGE ACCELERATION
4,990 KG 547 KM 0–100 KM/H IN 2.7 S
The vehicle's glass is reinforced and can withstand a baseball hit at speeds up to 112 km/h, and the acoustic glass ensures cabin silence matches the stillness of outer space.
This rugged design seems out of this world and offers outstanding durability and adaptability for all terrains. With electronic adaptive air suspension up to 305 mm stroke and 406 mm ground clearance, you can master any terrain.
Why isn't the Cybertruck sold in Sweden?
The distinct design with sharp edges does not meet strict EU pedestrian safety requirements. TÜV vehicle tests have shown that the front of the Cybertruck does not function as a crumple zone, causing enormous forces to be transferred to passengers instead of being absorbed in a collision. Due to these design features, it is currently impossible to register the Cybertruck in the EU without extensive modifications.

For Tesla's innovative pickup to be approved as a passenger vehicle in the EU, and therefore also in Sweden, these safety aspects must be addressed. Regulations and safety requirements pose a significant challenge for Tesla, which must adapt its design considerably to see the Cybertruck on European roads.
