Description
3M foil for your Model 3/Y center console!
Are you tired of the surface of your Model 3/Y?
With a 3M foil you get a nicer and more matte interior! Clean the surface to be mounted, the surface should be dry and free of dust.
3M 1080/2080 film - with its Air Release technology, it is easily the best vinyl for this application and is of a higher quality compared to our other wraps.
Each piece is precision cut for a perfect installation
Comes with an application tool to make installation really easy.
The 3M vinyl is very forgiving, and with a little time and patience you can achieve an "OEM" finish where anyone sitting in your Model 3/Y knows it didn't come that way from the factory.

FAQ
Q. I failed the application. What can I do?
A. The vinyl is really forgiving, and if there is a crease or stretch, applying some warm air (from a hair dryer or even leaving the car in the sun) can often restore its original shape and allow you a do-over.
Q. The installation did not go well, I would like to return it
A. All of our vinyl products are single-use products, which means they cannot be sold once they have been used, so we cannot provide refunds. However, we will always work with you, but if you are really not sure you can do it, you can ask for a return before installation or consider having someone else help you.
Q. What is the best (or worst!) fingerprinting option?
A. Most of the options resist or hide fingerprints very well. The brushed and carbon fiber options hide them completely. Satin White is second best, followed by Satin Black and Matrix Black. The matte black, as you would expect, tends to show fingerprints or greasy marks more than the other options. But it is also our most popular option (by far).
Q. Which one is easier to install?
A. The heavier textured surfaces (carbon fiber, Matrix black) are easier, as they are slightly thicker and more tolerant of the odd dust spot that can get stuck under the film. The brushed surfaces are next, as they still have a texture and are a bit heavier. The smooth films take a little longer to install as the surface must be completely clean.
Q. Which is the easiest to live with?
A. Carbon Fiber is the toughest film, because of the heavier structure it is difficult to scratch or see fingerprints. The brushed finishes are thinner, but generally fall into the same category. The matrix finish is also tough, but has a more matte surface, so will show greasy marks or "Starbucks" rings. The matte finishes usually show most of the marks, so if this is an issue for you, you can consider the satin options as a good compromise.
Q. How are these made?
A. Each piece is cut in-house with commercial vinyl cutters to a custom design created in a vector graphics package. We only use 3M 1080 (and now 2080) vinyl because of its long life and ease of use.
Q. Does it completely cover piano black plastic?
A. If it fits perfectly, yes. In fact, a completely perfect application can be challenging, but all the lines and curves are smoothly cut, and even if there is a bit of piano black coming through, the sharp edges will see that it is not noticeable.
Q. Can it be smoothly removed?
A. Yes, easily. The longer the vinyl is, the stronger the bond will be, but it can always be removed without causing damage to the original piano black finish. Just lift one edge and start gently pulling it off at a sharp angle.
Q. I'm not sure I can do this...
A. It's certainly not for everyone and that's why we offer installation where you can bring your car to our workshop in Gothenburg where a technician will install your chosen film.
Q. What is your favorite?
A. We love the brushed surfaces. Brushed Titanium is the closest match to the metal dash coating in the Model 3 & Y, but brushed steel has a really nice shade, so it's hard to choose between them. Carbon fiber is the easiest to fit and more typical of what you'd find in a car, so we love it too, but as always, it's a personal thing.
