Description

The round roof trim for Tesla Model Y is designed to reduce cabin noise at higher speeds. The rubber strip is comparable to neoprene and is highly effective at absorbing noise and high-frequency sounds that occur while driving fast.

Includes:

1 Roof trim and 1 plastic spudger for installation.

Compatible with:

  • Tesla Model Y Juniper 2025+
  • Tesla Model Y 2021–2024

Installation:

The rubber strip is installed by gently stretching it and placing it around the glass roof above the windshield. The plastic spudger tool can be used for easier installation.

Which cornice should I choose?

Our T-profile roof molding is available in two widths: 2.5 mm and 3 mm. The product description includes recommendations for which size fits each Tesla model, but if you want to be absolutely sure of the fit, you can order a sample of both sizes for only 29 SEK and test them directly on your Tesla.

For the Tesla Model Y (2021-2024), we also offer a specially adapted rounded roof molding. For the front edge of the roof, there are also roof moldings with 3M tape in widths of 14 mm and 19 mm.

Will installing moldings reduce the noise level?

The rubber strips for the roof and doors have several advantages. The material is comparable to neoprene and is useful for absorbing noise and reducing high-pitched whistling sounds that occur at higher speeds. In addition, the strips protect against dirt accumulation in the gaps, and the roof strip provides effective protection against stone chips at the edge of the glass roof.
