Anneli Nilsson, 46 and Peter Johansson, 52 from Borås are not only engaged cohabitants but also two very proud Tesla owners, they do not regret a second of the purchase. Anneli drives a Tesla Model 3, the reasons for buying a Tesla Model 3 were for environmental and economic reasons. The range of electric cars didn't appeal to her at first, but she got the offer to buy a used Tesla which appealed to her because it matched her financially. According to Anneli, it's also a lot of fun to drive, which is obviously a plus. Peter currently drives a Tesla Model Y. He bought it because it is fast and fun to drive and has good packing possibilities, unlike the previous Tesla he owned, which was a Tesla Model 3.
Pros and Cons of Tesla
Peter didn't wait long before quickly pointing out that Tesla has a very long range compared to other car brands and that there are many charging stations available. He thinks Tesla has a very advanced drive assist system, it brakes and accelerates and turns by itself, the only thing you do is monitor when you drive on the highway. He says this makes it very difficult for him to switch to another brand. The disadvantages are that it can be messy in winter, it becomes difficult to drive away in case of spontaneity. You have to make sure that the driveway is shoveled and that you preheat the car in the app. As the technology is quite new, insurance is quite expensive as they fear future problems with the batteries. Insurance companies charge extra for any future costs. Other than that, Peter had a hard time coming up with more disadvantages of Tesla.
Anneli says that the absolute advantage of tesla is that you mainly have cheap fuel, it is a brand that is outstanding when it comes to charging networks. She emphasizes very strongly that she finds it very difficult to see her choosing another type of electric car in the future even if she changes cars. What Anneli thinks is the worst thing about Tesla is that the car has a hard time with the weather where they live, for example that the doors freeze and cannot be opened. Another negative aspect is that there are no windshield wipers on the rear window. She says that just today she got a snow shock and had to stop the car to go out and wipe it off.

When you hear the word Tesla, what is the first thing that comes to mind?
Anneli is the first to answer the question and considers Tesla to be something that is innovative and bold. As a Swede, you're used to nothing standing out, a lot of people have opinions about Tesla and it becomes very polarized.
Peter thinks of Elon Musk. He considers him the Albert Einstein of the 21st century and our great genius. However, he emphasizes that Tesla founder Elon Musk is very controversial, you either love him or you hate him.
As a Tesla owner, where do you see Tesla in 10 years?
The couple agrees that where Tesla is now is not where they could have imagined 10 years ago. Because Tesla is an automotive, AI, and energy company, they believe Tesla has consummate self-driving and robots in place.
Are there any accessories for your Teslas that you have owned or currently own?
Again, both Nilsson and Johansson agree that the best accessory they have bought is the mattress. Every summer, the couple goes on vacation with Peter's Tesla Model Y and for it they have bought a memory foam mattress.
As a lot of negative things are currently revolving around Tesla, Anneli believes that Tesla is pushing the development very consistently and very quickly and that change breeds fear in people. She continues that fear breeds resistance and then it is very easy to become negative. Everything is about ignorance because you don't know, so you choose to believe the negative, says Anneli. Peter says that he personally does not care, but that it is clear that it is not good for the company with a negative drive. Peter gets frustrated as he feels that Elon Musk is receiving an extreme amount of hate, even though he is one of the people who has contributed the most to a good environment and it's all about publicity, media coverage and advertising revenue.
