Tesla aims for new record: Over 1.8 million deliveries expected in 2023
Analysts point to a new delivery record for Tesla. Last year, Tesla managed to deliver over a million cars for the first time, with a total of 1.37 million vehicles when 2022 was totaled. As usual, Tesla aims to break another record in 2023, with a goal of delivering 1.8 million cars. A goal that several analysts now believe is within reach, according to reports from industry publication Automotive News.
Following significant price cuts of up to SEK 150,000 in January, the Model Y electric SUV has dominated new car sales in Sweden. The model has also been the most registered car in Europe for several months.
