Tesla-strejk når Danmark: Fackförbund i Solidaritet med Svenska Kollegor

Tesla strike reaches Denmark: Unions in Solidarity with Swedish Colleagues

The Tesla strike, which started in Sweden, has now spread to Denmark. Denmark's largest trade union, 3F Transport, which represents port workers and drivers, has given notice of conflict with Tesla. This is an expression of solidarity with the Swedish unions, especially IF Metall, who are fighting for Tesla to sign collective agreements.

The notice means that within 14 days, Danish port workers and drivers will not handle or transport Tesla cars destined for Sweden. This action is in support of the Swedish trade union IF Metall's conflict with Tesla, the American car company. The Danish union has communicated this sympathy measure to the Danish employers' association.

Jan Villadsen, president of 3F Transport, spoke to Danish TV2 and stressed that even if you are one of the richest people in the world, you cannot be exempt from following the agreements that prevail in the Nordic labor market. This highlights the need for Tesla to comply with the labor standards and agreements that apply in the region.
