Tesla Expanderar Supercharger-Nätverket i Sverige Trots Pågående Fackliga Åtgärder

Tesla Expands Supercharger Network in Sweden Despite Ongoing Union Action

Tesla continues with plans to establish new fast-charging stations, known as Superchargers, along Swedish roads despite ongoing union actions. According to their latest updated map on the company website, Tesla intends to add approximately 30 new Superchargers to their network, which already includes 73 stations stretching from Björkliden in the north to Ystad in the south.

The electricians' union has started a blockade in support of IF Metall's strike against Tesla. However, this blockade does not affect the construction of new charging stations. It restricts members from performing service, repairs and troubleshooting on existing Superchargers, but does not affect the installation of new ones. Diana Oldenburg, Head of Communications at the Swedish Electricians' Association, confirms that the blockade currently only concerns the maintenance of existing chargers and that they are considering further measures to support IF Metall, but no decisions have yet been made on this issue.
