Snabbladdare: Tesla Expanderar i Sverige med 31 Nya Supercharger-Stationer 2024

Fast Chargers: Tesla Expanding in Sweden with 31 New Supercharger Stations in 2024

Tesla, already a leader in fast charging infrastructure, is now expanding its network in Sweden. With over 1100 fast chargers spread across 80 stations, Tesla has created Sweden's largest public fast charging network. This network is also open to 90 percent of all electric car brands.

2024 will be an expansive year for Tesla in Sweden with plans to open 31 new Supercharger stations. This expansion will reduce the distance between existing stations and make it even easier for EV drivers to find charging opportunities across the country.

The following is a list of the locations and the planned opening dates of the new stations:

  • Malmö: 2024
  • Lund, Hörby, Ljungby: Q2 2024
  • Kungsbacka, Nässjö, Borås: Q3 2024
  • Gränna, Göteborg Norr: Q4 2024
  • Håby, Katrineholm, Södertälje, Eskilstuna, Bålsta: Q2 2024
  • Västerås, Norrtälje: Q4 2023 (delayed)

ansbro, Gävle West, Valbo, Mora North, Bollnäs: Q4 2023 (delayed)

  • Hemavan, Piteå: Q4 2024
  • Kiruna: Q3 2024

These new stations in northern Sweden, including Kiruna, Piteå, Luleå, Hemavan and Strömsund, demonstrate Tesla's commitment to improving accessibility in areas where fast chargers can be few and far between. This strengthens Tesla's position as a key player in EV infrastructure, especially in less densely populated areas.

Tesla is adding new fast chargers not only in the north, but all over the country, including outside metropolitan areas like Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. This underscores the company's goal to cover all of Sweden with a reliable and convenient network of charging stations.

Tesla Superchargers, known for their high charging capacity of up to 250 kW, will be strategically placed near stores and restaurants to offer a convenient experience for drivers while their cars are being charged.

This significant expansion of Tesla's network reflects the company's commitment to supporting a green transition and facilitating a smooth transition to electric vehicles across Sweden. With these new additions, Tesla is strengthening its role as a pioneering force in the development of sustainable transportation.
