Description
Get the most out of your brake system for your Model 3 or Model Y by upgrading to the Model 3/Y Stainless Steel Brake Line from Redwood Motorsports. These custom stainless steel brake lines, approved to DOT standards, will give you superior performance and reliability.
When you press the brake pedal while braking, the pressure in the hydraulic lines can exceed 1000 psi. This extreme pressure causes the original rubber lines to expand and swell outward instead of transferring the full brake pressure to the caliper. This results in a "spongy" feeling in the brake pedal. Our stainless steel performance lines with braided Teflon are the perfect replacement for the original rubber lines, as the Teflon inner part and stainless steel prevent swelling in the line and transfer 100% of the brake pedal force to the caliper. The result is a firmer and more direct brake pedal with a high quality stainless steel brake line kit.
Many aftermarket brake lines use untreated stainless steel lines, allowing dirt and debris to stick and gradually deteriorate the lines over time while these lines come with a protective outer casing in smoke gray or red to prevent premature wear. In addition, the protective coating keeps the lines clean and tidy.
