Note: Alloygator is not recommended for machine polished or diamond cut aluminum wheels. Although installation of the product will provide superior protection against damage. If there are already imperfections on the painted rim, it may increase the risk of moisture storage inside the protection and accelerate the degradation of the paint. However, you can install the AlloyGator on damage-free rims. Installation of AlloyGator will not cause damage to the rim. However, AlloyGator Limited accepts no responsibility for any such damage caused by the fitting of the product.

Despite this, many customers with machine polished wheels buy AlloyGators. Most customers prefer to repaint the wheels should the need arise rather than face the much more expensive and troublesome problem of having to repair the wheels due to damage caused by, for example, curbs.
